ProGlove wins the BEST PRODUCT Award LogiMat 2018
Stuttgart, 13th March - The award in the category “Identification, Packaging and Loading technology, Load securing” goes to the Munich start-up ProGlove (Hall 10, Stand C76) for the intelligent glove with the integrated scanner: MARK.
The intelligent data glove was developed for the special requirements in logistics and production in order to connect the worker’s labor with the Internet of Things. MARK is already being used by more than 250 customers from the automotive industry (BMW, VW, Mahle Festo), the food retail sector (Rewe Group), aerospace (Lufthansa Technik) and department stores (IKEA), where it is sustainably improving industrial processes. It helps warehouse employees work faster, safer and more ergonomically: thanks to the integrated barcode scanner on the back of the glove, workers have their hands freed up and can work ergonomically. The scan function is triggered by pressure on the textile trigger integrated into the glove. The worker is then provided with direct acoustic, physical and visual feedback on the process steps. ProGlove was founded by Thomas Kirchner, Jonas Girardet, Alexander Grots and Paul Günther at the end of 2014 after winning the “Make it Wearable” US competition in Silicon Valley with their idea for an intelligent industrial glove. ProGlove now has more than 80 employees, who have set themselves the task of connecting the worker with the industrial Internet of Things through products tailored to the needs of their customers.
