Current information on the coronavirus (Covid-19)

Dear visitor,
Dear exhibitor,

Currently we get many questions about the corona virus.

Update

05.03.2020 – 7:00 am

LogiMAT, the 18th International Trade Show for Intralogistics Solutions & Process Management, has been canceled due to an official injunction.

We expressly regret the late date of these official orders.  We are confident that together with you we will be able to hold the LogiMAT 2021 in the usual high quality. The next LogiMAT will take place from March 9 to 11, 2021 in Stuttgart.

See also our press release.

03.03.2020 – 2:00 pm

We are coordinating daily with Messe Stuttgart and local authorities. We are complying with the requirements and instructions of the local Office of Public Health in Esslingen and the Office of Public Order in Leinfelden-Echterdingen. The authorities are well prepared, and the national and worldwide developments are monitored carefully. In the view of the authorities, there is currently no reason to restrict trade fair operations at the Stuttgart location. According to the current status, LogiMAT Stuttgart will take place in Stuttgart as planned.

You can be assured that the safety and health of our fair participants and visitors is our highest priority. For example, we have informed all exhibitors who come from areas and countries classified as "risk areas" by the Robert Koch Institute (especially China and Italy) about the latest measures and have already obligated them to provide LogiMAT with their own information in the run-up to the fair.

Persons who have been in areas classified by the Robert Koch Institute as “risk areas” in the past 14 days are not allowed to enter the exhibition grounds, neither during the assembly and dismantling times, nor during the event.

The regulatory office in Leinfelden-Echterdingen will carry out the necessary checks on the exhibition grounds before and during LogiMAT. Please keep in mind that these measures serve your health and safety. Please cooperate accordingly.

As soon as the situation changes, we will of course inform you immediately.

Update

02.03.2020 – 9:10 am

Both the Robert Koch Institute in its recommendations for large-scale events and the Health Office in Esslingen still see no increased risk for exhibitors and visitors. The Federal Government's crisis team on corona virus also decided on February 28, 2020 that major events such as trade fairs can generally continue to take place.

According to the current status, LogiMAT Stuttgart will take place from March 10 to 12 in Stuttgart as planned.

Persons who have been in areas classified by the Robert Koch Institute as “risk areas” in the past 14 days are, on the order of the Leinfelden-Echterdingen Ordnungsamt, not allowed to enter the exhibition grounds, neither during the assembly and dismantling times, nor during the event.

Please note that the Robert Koch Institute lists the so-called Risk areas has expanded.

  • For Italy this means: Emilia-Romagna region, Lombardy region and the city of Vo in the province of Padua in the Veneto region

The cities and regions currently classified as risk areas can be found on the RKI information page.

All currently registered exhibitors from so-called Risk Areas will be/have been informed about this measure and are obliged to provide information in advance of the fair.

The Ordnungsamt Leinfelden-Echterdingen will carry out the necessary checks on the exhibition grounds before and during LogiMAT.

29.02.2020 - 5:30 pm

In contrast to article in today's press, the assessment of the responsible health authority remains unchanged. The LogiMAT takes place as planned.

We as the organizer are in constant contact with the responsible health authority. So far, the health authority sees no reason to restrict the organization of trade fairs in Stuttgart.

As soon as the situation changes, we will of course inform you immediately.

28.02.2020 – 9:30 am

Please note that the Robert Koch Institute has expanded the list with the so-called risk areas.
For Italy, the text is now:

  • In Italy (new): Lombardy region and the city of Vo in the province of Padua in the region of Veneto.

25.02.2020 – 1:30 pm

The Robert Koch Institute has expanded the list of risk areas related to the coronavirus by a few regions in three other countries. Overall, the following areas are now classified as risk areas:

  • In China: Hubei Province (including Wuhan City) and the cities of Wenzhou, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Taizhou in Zhejiang Province
  • In Iran: Ghom province
  • In Italy: Province of Lodi in the Lombardy region and the city of Vo in the province of Padua in the Veneto region
  • In South Korea: Gyeongsangbuk-do Province (North Gyeongsang)

Persons who have been in areas classified by the Robert Koch Institute as “risk areas” in the past 14 days are not allowed to enter the exhibition grounds, neither during the assembly and dismantling times, nor during the event.

As the organizer of LogiMAT, the health and safety of our guests is our top priority. In cooperation and at the request of the Esslingen Health Office and the Leinfelden-Echterdingen Regulatory Office, we will implement the following measures for the LogiMAT trade fair together with Landesmesse Stuttgart to effectively counter the spread of the coronavirus:

  • Guests arriving from China are obliged to state their exact location (s) for the past 14 days.
  • Persons who have been in areas classified by the Robert Koch Institute as “risk areas” in the past 14 days are not allowed to enter the exhibition grounds, neither during the assembly and dismantling times, nor during the event. The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) has currently defined the following risk areas: Chinese province of Hubei (incl. City of Wuhan) and the cities of Wenzhou, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Taizhou in the province of Zhejiang. The cities and regions currently classified as risk areas can be found on the RKI information page.
  • Anyone who has symptoms typical of corona or who has been in contact with infected people is prohibited from entering the trade fair ground - regardless of origin or nationality.

All currently registered exhibitors from China have been informed about this measure and are obliged to provide information in advance of the fair.

The regulatory office in Leinfelden-Echterdingen will carry out the necessary checks on the exhibition grounds before and during LogiMAT. Please keep in mind that these measures serve your health and safety. Please cooperate accordingly.

Together with the Landesmesse Stuttgart, we will take all necessary measures at the exhibition center, which goes far beyond setting up the many disinfection dispensers. The cleaning and disinfection of the site, especially the toilet facilities, handrails, elevators and (door) handles, are carried out intensively.

As the organizer of LogiMAT, we support the current "no hands" campaign, which recommends not shaking hands. In view of the current background, this is not rude, but another prudent recommendation.

Of course, we will do everything in our power to carry out a successful and healthy LogiMAT 2020 for you.

Your LogiMAT team
