Safety at LogiMAT
Your safety is our top priority!
Dear LogiMAT exhibitors and visitors,
We are pleased to announce that it is once again possible to safely host trade shows and other events in Stuttgart. We are monitoring the current situation with Covid-19 very closely. This means working hand in hand with both the venue operator and the relevant authorities in the state of Baden-Württemberg and following their recommendations and requirements for live events.
The measures we’re taking to safely host LogiMAT follow the health and safety plan put forward by the venue operator, available online at www.messe-stuttgart.de/safeexpo.
1. Immunity required
Entry to the Messe Stuttgart convention center is restricted to those who are either fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (15 days after the last vaccination), have recovered from a Covid-19 infection (no less than 28 days and no more than 6 months ago), or can produce a negative Covid-19 test result (rapid antigen test within 24 hours or PCR test within 48 hours of admission).
We will publish a list of test centers near Messe Stuttgart on this page at the appropriate time.
Please keep in mind that local test centers cannot be expected to conduct several thousand tests per day. For that reason, we urge all attendees who cannot produce proof of vaccination or recovery to get tested in their local communities before traveling to Stuttgart.
Be sure to note how long test results are considered valid.
Please ensure that your proof of vaccination or recovery meets the acceptance criteria!
It is entirely possible that the local authorities will stop accepting negative tests and restrict events to those with proof of vaccination or recovery.
To ensure the event runs smoothly, we therefore recommend that exhibitors in particular begin planning now to comply with these stricter requirements.
2. Masks required
All persons aged 6 and up must wear a surgical or FFP2 (N95) mask while on site at the venue. Face shields (visors) alone are not adequate.
Masks may be removed within the venue only while you are eating or drinking at exhibit booth tables or in food service areas.
3. Distancing rules
Whenever possible, please maintain a distance of at least 1.5 meters (5 feet) to others throughout the venue.
4. Contact tracing
All individuals on site at any time during the event (visitors, exhibitors, organizers, employees, service providers, booth personnel, installation and dismantling crews, delivery companies, etc.) must be fully registered so that local authorities can reconstruct chains of infection if necessary.
Only day tickets will be offered. Event passes have been prohibited due to contact tracing requirements.
5. Rules of hygiene
Please observe general rules of hygiene and coughing/sneezing etiquette. Use the disinfectant dispensers provided.
The recommendations of Germany’s national public health authority (RKI) must be observed.
6. General information
The LogiMAT health and safety plan is regularly updated and expanded to comply with current Covid-19 requirements of the state of Baden-Württemberg.
