Die ZELL Group ist führender Hersteller von Werkstückträgersystemen und verfügt über langjährige Erfahrung in der Oberflächenbehandlung sowie in der Intralogistik hochwertiger Bauteile. Ihren Ursprung hat das Unternehmen in der Zell Oberflächentechnik GmbH & Co. KG, heute A-Supplier im Automotive-Bereich. Aus dem eigenen Bedarf heraus entwickelte Firmengründer Ingo Zell bereits 2008 ein neuartiges Werkstückträgersystem – nach dem Leitgedanken: „Das muss doch besser gehen“. Damit legte ZELL den Grundstein für den erfolgreichen Wandel vom Strahlbetrieb zum Transportspezialisten.

Mit der Zell Systemtechnik GmbH setzt die ZELL Group heute Maßstäbe in Fördertechnik und Intralogistik. Das Portfolio umfasst über 1.300 standardisierte Komponenten, ausgelegt auf europäische Standardmaße sowie Schäfer 1 und 2. Aus diesen Modulen entstehen individuell konfigurierte Werkstückträgersysteme, exakt angepasst an das jeweilige Bauteil. Unterschiedliche Größen, Farben und Beschriftungen ermöglichen zusätzliche Individualisierung. Das Systemprinzip ist dabei konsequent durchgängig: Ein Clip passt auf jeden Werkstückträger – und dieser wiederum in den passenden Korb. Für Branchen wie Automobil-, Medizin- und Elektrotechnik bietet ZELL bereits erprobte Branchenlösungen.

Der ZELL® Carrier, vorgestellt auf Basis des ZELL® Factory Systems, ist ein modularer 3-in-1-Werkstückträger für Transport und Waschen ohne separaten Waschkorb. Er ist rollenbahnfähig in beide Richtungen, mit standardisierten Behältern und KLTs stapelbar und für schwere Bauteile optimiert. Mit der ZELL® BOX lassen sich Kavitäten flexibel abstecken – ideal für Anwendungen mit hoher Bauteilvarianz. Die gleichbleibende Matrix unterstützt zudem automatisierte Produktionsprozesse. Internationale Patente und die Zertifizierung nach ISO 9001 unterstreichen den Qualitäts- und Innovationsanspruch.

Auch bei den Werkstückaufnahmen entwickelt ZELL seine Systeme kontinuierlich weiter: Neben Standard-Clips kommen heute Multiclips zum Einsatz, die Montageaufwand reduzieren und die Kapazität erhöhen. Werkstückträger und Körbe können als Bausatz aus hochwertigem Polyamid gefertigt werden, wodurch Gewicht und Kosten sinken. Die steigende internationale Nachfrage beantwortet ZELL mit dem Ausbau der Produktionskapazitäten sowie der Expansion in Europa, die USA und Asien.

Neu: ZELL Shop
Mit dem ZELL Shop bietet ZELL einen interaktiven Webshop zur einfachen und schnellen Bestellung von Kunststoff-Werkstückträgersystemen. Bereits heute lassen sich alle fünf Kunststoffträger in Fläche und Höhe konfigurieren sowie ausgewählte Komponenten, Standard Clips und Multiclips direkt online als Bausatz bestellen. Die lagerhaltigen Produkte sind kurzfristig verfügbar – ideal für Muster, Tests, Varianten und Nachbestellungen bestehender Systeme.

The ZELL® Carrier, based on the ZELL® Factory System, is a modular 3-in-1 workpiece carrier that enables transport and washing without a separate washing basket. It is compatible with roller conveyors in both directions, stackable with standardized containers and KLTs, and optimized for handling heavy components. With the ZELL® BOX, cavities can be flexibly arranged – ideal for applications with high component variance. The consistent matrix also supports automated production processes. International patents and ISO 9001 certification underline ZELL’s commitment to innovation and quality.

ZELL continues to advance its workpiece holding solutions: in addition to standard clips, Multiclips are now used to reduce assembly effort and increase capacity. Workpiece carriers and baskets can be manufactured as kits from high-quality polyamide, significantly reducing weight and cost. ZELL addresses growing international demand by expanding its production capacities and pursuing further growth across Europe, the USA and Asia.
